Wien finished, and new Illustration in progress

I'm doing a new illustration this week for an other publication, have to prepare for a lecture I give next Tuesday also so hope I will manage to finish it this week . Didn't do to much more on the Vienna piece but a sky, it's supposed to be old Franz Josef in the clouds if you wonder. If you want to enlarge the picture there is a small warning it's rather a high resolution. Grüss gott! und wie sehen um uns.

    Hello Mattias

The thing that I love about the traffic drawing is this: my eye just went around and around and around looking for clues, and then I got it.

The final Wien drawing is prodigious.

Also, thanks for points to Stefan's blog. Is that his name? I have a new pop star artist to admire.

  3. The complexity of the bottom cityscape is mind-bending. And I so dig the top illustration. Flying Elephants and moose’s, there’s the key to an amazing drawing!

What a great mess in this city. The curves in the sky complement it so well. Love your stuff.

  6. It's fantastic, and the shapes in the sky look great with the building!

  7. Thanks all, didn't know how to end the Vienna piece, but the article mentions how the city feels over shadowed by it's past and the strange weather in the city.
